Villain Donks

You hold a bluff catcher but still I like to fold.
Do you have any stats on villain?

I don't have any reads on villain. Having no reads this is a fairly standard fold? I notice a lot more donking and betting vs missed c bet. It is starting to tilt me. I think understanding the proper line to take will remove the tilt.

Best way is to call with your best bluff catchers and fold the worst. It doesn't matter much in terms of hand strength with wich bluff catchers you call, but it is easier to get the correct calling frequency to prevent you from being run over. This here is a fold because you have nothing. Call with most or all pairs of jacks. Calling more is a judgement and pot odds question.

Another thing to do is to check back some stronger hands on turn. On this board it is okay to check back a pretty strong jack, partly to induce bluffs, but also to make a (small) value bet OTR that might be looked up by pocket pairs (if he checks). The downside is that you might give a free card to beat you. (But you can't both eat the cookie and still have it:D)

Would you call here with TT-99?

I did a little guessing using Equilab (not for equity, just to be able to "see" my range). It looks like TT is a call and 99 is a fold, but this is for my personal range (I do often 3-bet these hands and KJ kind of stuff, that I probably check back turn with.) Any read can make both of these hands a call or a fold I think. This would be the "wrong" answer for someone elses range. Most don't even have QJ to check back turn here. A tight player might have AK and TT/99 only in this spot (he might coldcall AJ and the like). Such a player must call with TT/99, at least if the opponents have stats.

What are his stats or pfevious hands? If he is decent then your hand is face up. Check flop or barrel the turn you get floated a lot.

It seems calling with even a pair in these situations can be a losing proposition. Only 36% w$sd% and 5% with High Card.
