What's CO's cold-calling range here, when he looks like a solid player after a small sample? I'm not sure but I'm pretty positive we can't beat it with AK. Getting pretty good odds so after a bit of tanking I decided to call and fold missed flops. What do you do here?

What if it was a 60/40 fish cold-calling? Do we 4-bet to ~30bb or just shove? Or is folding ever an option?

Might be too nitty but I would fold preflop and wait for better opportunities. Even the MP range should be not so weak, despite he looks a little bit loose. As to the CO range first what comes to mind is JJ-QQ, AK. Maybe sometimes AA, depends how he sees you.

CO can have a lot wider range - 77+, AQ+.

So what would your line of play be here?

Calling is the worse you can do. Our hand is not ok in mw pot, oop without initiative.
You have 2 options: 4b or fold. I think folding is weak and prefer 4 betting. Others will not feel comfortable 4 betting and will fold.

MP vs UTG 3bet range surely includes some bluffs, especially this particular MP in the sample size. Given his stats, maybe he even has some worse hands in his value range, like AQ or AJ. Without the CO's cold call, I think we could call, or if we think that he is capable to stack off with worse hands, we can 4bet and get it in.

When the CO cold called, I would exclude the majority of KK+ combos from his range, so I think that, overall, we have a good equity with AK against their ranges and given the pot odds, call is not terrible, imo. But, since we are oop and will be hard
to realise our equity, especially if we miss, I think that 4betting and getting it in, given the equity and fold equity combined, is the best play there.

this spot is very uncomfortable. despite mp's vpip/pfr his 3bet is not high, his sizing is huge and CO also can definitely have KK+ (what does it look like when a tight player 4bets from CO against a MP vs UTG 3bet?)

against KK+ you have 20% or something.
that said, i agree that some players will have a range wider than QQ+/AK on CO and i think it's a pretty terrible thing to have in your strategy. so well, if you think CO is a fish/can be wide just 4bet/fuck it and hope for the best (too much dead money), otherwise i think i just fold.
