Hello there poker folks!
Id like to know your opinion to my pretty nitty fold on pokerstars mtt tournament. I have recently being busted with decent stack size and i adjusted my game now that i dont take too many riskes against other big stacks.

I have also noticed that in pokerstars there is alot of made action flops( or then iam just paranoid) but it feels like there is often 3-5 player who flops monsters...

So utg+1 limped and mp2 min-raised and i did a small raise because didint wanna scare of hands like AJ+ TT+. Then the the flops comes pretty damn wet, and since ive seen those kinds of flops on pokerstars lately + i thought that the mp2 could have JJ, KK or some kinda of draw, and since the utg was still in the game i just felt my aces aint good anymore.

PokerStars - $2.50+$0.25|600/1200 Ante 120 NL - Holdem - 9 players

Hi, villejar,
Let's leave the hand discussion alone for a moment, and look at the overall tone of your post.
You include in your decision making process some assumptions about PokerStars:
:diamond:  "action flops"
:diamond:  "ive seen those kinds of flops on pokerstars lately"

It is a mental game leak to include ANYTHING outside the hand itself in your decision.

To the hand:
I cannot imagine myself checking AA on this flop. I find that when I play passively, stuff like this happens. I'm not saying I'm playing it right, but I'm at least going to make a bet here.
When you play passively, you permit villain to make a decision for free. When you play aggressively, you force him to make a decision.

OTOH, given your assessment of villain's range

i thought that the mp2 could have JJ, KK or some kinda of draw, and since the utg was still in the game i just felt my aces aint good anymore

and considering that made straights are possible, I would say, "well played".

One last thought: Given that you're OOP facing a call and a min-raise, your pre-flop bet needs to be WAY stronger I think. You're trying to get heads up vs one of them. AA 3-2ay sux.

Disclaimer: I am NOT a coach!

All the best,
VS

I have moved you’re hand to the hand discussion board, because there fits it better there.

Not to much to said with a great post of VS here and I would also Cbet here on a wet flop like this for protection and value.

Cheers,
