No reads on villain. Turn min raise just looked weak to me and I prefer calling and taking my equity (opposed to bluffing turn by 3 betting). River jam is annoying. I thought about checking river but Is villain really cr/cc a strong range here ???
Thoughts ? (If you want to say what you would have done.. Please explain why ). Thanks. :f_drink:

Once the fish shows interest in the hand I would try to go to SD as cheapest as possible with this hand. I like the flop bet after he misses to cbet. We should win enough often for this to be OK imo. Turn - some draws complete, or GS improve, or fish might have 2 pairs now - prefer x back. River - Flush also complete, he might have hand like AK. I do not see stronger hands to fold or many weaker to call. So, I would x back.

I like checking back this flop as we have a lot of turn cards which improves our equity. Turn is time to give up imo, this card hits so many hands he calls the flop with. River is probably fine to bet, but easy fold when he shoves.

I do not like betting this flop. We should x and see turn. After that we should fold if villain shows aggression.

+1

Easy fold to the turn minraise as played. Sure, you're getting good odds but you'll almost certainly face more aggression on later streets and even if you hit your ace (like you did) you wind up lost.

You said the turn minraise looked weak - when a fish raises, it's generally not weak. When they minraise, it's generally not weak. When they minraise on a turn that improves a lot of hands that will check-call the flop, it's definitely not weak.

Against a recreational player with small stack - just give up on turn.

If you played versus a good player, I think you might have a marginal call on turn as you are betting quite weak here. But versus fish min-raise just screams strength.
