[Closed] Continuation bet

This seems to be happening to me a lot lately. I've been getting a few strong hands pre-flop which I've raised but then I'm stuck with a trash hand or overcards on the flop. It's recommended that I make a continuation bet, but how do you proceed if you're called or raised? Should you still try to maintain the perception of strength if you still have initiative on the turn (or river)?

It's impossible to give an answer to this, it depends on your opponents, position, potsize, which hand you have, board texture etc etc.

Best thing to do is to post the hands you are not sure about.

I've already posted some hands in these threads.
AKo/AQo (2 hands) 0.05/0.10 FR

ATs 0.05/0.10 FR

It's just very frustrating when these hands don't complete. Feel free to leave your comments.

Hi Calron,

I know what you mean.
Nothing you can do about it. Just remember that you made a good play preflop.
