Villain is a reg. No further stats, just a few hands on him.
In this hand I was asking myself if we should cbet or not. To get some help I asked Poker Ranger. It showed me that if:
Hero's 3betting Range in this spot vs unknown is:
TT+,ATs+,A2s-A5s,KJs+,QJs,JTs,T9s,98s,AJo+,KQo
And Villain's default calling range:
77-JJ,A9s-AQs,KJs+,QJs,JTs,T9s,98s,AQo,AhJc,AsJh,AsJc,AcJh,AcJs,KhQs,KhQc,KsQh,KsQc,KcQh,KcQs,AhJs
We are actually favoring this specific flop texture with about 58% Equity (Range vs. Range)
--> Conclusion: We should cbet more than checking.
Now, the only Cards we can really barrell on are any
- an Ace is already a bit tainted by AJ/AT type of hands. I'm not a big fan of one-and-done cbetting, but what do you guys think? Would you exploitatively cbet this flop to take it down, or would you check and e.g. go for a delayed cbet turn and river vs. Qx and worse?
