Hi,

I'm wondering if I should play this hand any different such as maybe try a bigger or smaller bet on the flop or if I should continue to bet on the turn when I don't have anything?
I didn't have many so many hands on the villain. Is there anyway I can improve my play here?

Hi grimpop,
What do you think of check/call the flop, lead out on the turn?

It is very common for players to bluff on paired boards -- the question is who gets the "right of first bluff".

OTT what are your repping? The 6x? AQ? Overpair?

I have no problem with the river fold.

I'm curious to see what others say here...

Peace,
VS

He has put in money in 8 hands out of 16 you have played with him, thats not a lot but it can tell something about a player. Usually against players like these I like to play passive, so checking the flop here does look good. If he bets I would call and evaluate on the turn. As the turn brings another 6 I think we need to give up, since it does not hit our range at all, only if we have pocket 6s or A6s which is very unlikely. Position wins this hand.

If we Cbetting or not I would give up the turn unimproved. I don’t think we can profitable charge our straight draw and if we hit top pair we could be beat as well.

I would choose x/call flop, turn and give up on river bet.
