i guess with these guys bounties this spot is juicy to not take it right? i think utg will have damn hard time to call anything but ak, maybe aqs and high pps. no idea how far he goes down here but im sure he folds anything weaker than tt which would be huge. well basically im really sure this spot is fine to take. i just want to hear other opinions and maybe reasons to not take it. thx

Without bounties in play this would be the easiest fold in the world against 2 all-inns, because you should be happy if you aren’t crushed against a better pair with the big stack that need to decide as well. I would fold with bounties in play as well, because the original raiser will most likely call wider as well if you keep in mind he can win 3 bounties with eliminating you as well.

its obvious that this is a fold without bounties. if u look carefully you will notice that i got him covered. that fact favours me actually. if he calls i play for almost triple the tournament buy in. also i should have a decent amount of fe in this spot since he has to risk his healthy stack and doesnt even cover me.

To finish first, you must first finish

Although the bounties figure strongly in this hand, I think that the critical piece of information is that UTG+1 open raised, and two people shoved over top.
Even with bounties I'm folding.

You are 4:1 against winning this pot:

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    36.12%  35.33%   0.79% { 33+, A9s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, ATo+, KTo+, QTo+, JTo }
MP3    21.04%  20.21%   0.83% { random }
CO     21.03%  20.20%   0.84% { random }
BB     21.80%  21.55%   0.25% { 33 }
(monte carlo, 400 million iterations)

But you're only getting 3x Buy-in, so not worth the risk.
(and in truth, since you expect -- or hope -- that UTG+1 folds, you are only getting 2:1)
However, playing with Equilab a bit, you are getting 3:1 at 55+,A8+

So the question is...
Do you feel lucky?

Me? Hmmmm....
Without UTG+1 in there, I'm calling all day long.
Your range is *really* wide here, so can we expect him to fold?

Interesting spot for sure...

thx for your post. do you really think utg goes in that lose as well? sadly i dont use stats but im pretty sure he was on the tighter side at this table. he sit left to me and the most action came from the two big stacks at the table. if villain was tight theres pros and cons. its bad if his range is strong since it makes it more likely that he can call but on the other hand if hes tighter in general hes most likely still only calling the top of that range. if one of the two donkies to my right who probably had 30-50 vpip opened or called the shove i would have folded since theres no fe left for me. cant compare the spots but i think u understand.

if u think its too close to move in here with 33 what would you personally isolate in this spot?

The tighter UTG+1 is, then the more reason you have to fold, the better his hand is, the less equity you have.
You need at least 3:1 chance to make the 3 bounties profitable.
Also, I assigned random hands to the short stacks. They have hands too.

I re-did the ranges to give the two shorties 50% hands, and tightened up UTG+1 a bit.

Pretty much same result:

       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    32.40%  31.53%   0.87% { JJ+, 99-33, A9s+, K9s+, Q9s+, J9s+, T9s, AJo+, KQo }
MP3    23.03%  22.10%   0.93% { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o }
CO     23.03%  22.11%   0.93% { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o }
BB     21.54%  21.35%   0.19% { 33 }

You're 4:1 against, to win 3BI.
If you win, though, you stand to pick up more buy-ins.

Did this tournament have a re-entry feature?

I need to think more about the bounty aspect of this hand.

I'm still leaning toward fold as the best option though.

I'd like to see what others think...
