PLO2 rush, is this fold correct on the river?

It's fine until river. That spot is a bit tricky, that half a pot donk is strange. I wouldn't mind calling the river, as the donk is so strange and small it's suspicious and in PLO2 people make bluffs in spots where they "shouldn't".

Why it would be a snap?

When you say snap, do you mean snap call or snap fold?

I guess he means a snap call, but with trips it would be tough for me as PLO fish to fold on his donk lead with all those missed draws.

GTO/balance wise yes. But when opponents start to play with unbalanced ranges, we should adjust accordingly.

In my experience (more of this in today's https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=403175&goto=firstnew) general population doesn't bluff there. Sure, they make not-so-good valuebets, like betting trips when straight and flush completes on the river etc. If they bluff, it's usually either their own barrel or a bet when hero checks (shows weakness in their eyes).

Here hero has bet the flop and turn. And suddenly opponent donks the river. If hero was oop and checks, then it's a snap call at PLO2. This is more borderline. #hudwouldbenice
