hello im a poker plyr from germany and i am starting again to play poker. and i always liked this site. so i wanted to learn by reading and watching vids.
but for a few days now the german part of PS.com is unavailable. do you know if this is for all german players or have i to "manipulate" my firefox to get access to the german part.

I'm no German member, but for me the German forum works fine in Google Chrome. I don't use Firefox.

if i try it, the site opens but a message says:"due to the status of poker in your country, this site is unavailable in your area."
i tried it with firefox, explorer and on my tablet and smartphone with android/chrome. no chance to open the site.
maybe you can view it, cause you are not located in germany, as i am.

I set my VPN to use Frankfurt as its location, and I was still able to access de.pokerstrategy.com using firefox
Are you living near a border?
If you go to https://www.whatismyip.com/ it will show you where you appear to be located.
If it shows that you are in Germany, then I suggest creating a customer support ticket (go to bottom of that page) and give them all the details you can.
If it says you're not in Germany, contact your ISP to see if they can fix it.

I am located in Germany, and right now, I can access the German forum just fine using Firefox.
But I remember a few times in the past when this was not the case, and I got the same message as you did. I have once read on the German forum that there are a few states where the DE community can't be accessed at all, and in my region (Hesse), it only seems to work every now and then.
If this problem didn't occur until recently, maybe you can try again in a few days, and see if anything changed. If you haven't visited Pokerstrategy in a while, though, then maybe you are in one of those restricted states.
In any case, you can still check out the English strategy articles and videos, and maybe you'll even like the EN forum.

following your link shows me that i am located in Germany, Bavaria Munich. Bavaria is a kind of special even in Germany :-)
So i think to write a ticket. Shall i write the ticket in German or in English?

The only chance for you is to use VPN.
I was also part of this "barrier", but only a few days, with VPN it worked.

without doing anything i am able again to switch to the german part of ps.com. i will open there a new thread with the hope to avoid future problems. for all helping me here i want to say thank you very much.
