partypoker - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 185 BB
UTG: 179.5 BB
Hero (CO): 191 BB
BTN: 153.5 BB
SB: 71 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♣ T♦

fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) 9♥ Q♠ 4♣
BB bets 1 BB, Hero raises to 7 BB, BB calls 6 BB

Turn: (20.5 BB, 2 players) 2♣
BB bets 1 BB, Hero raises to 22.5 BB, BB calls 21.5 BB

River: (65.5 BB, 2 players) 9♠
BB bets 1 BB, Hero calls 1 BB

Should I have sticked to my line and even raised the river as well? Or did I get it all wrong?

Flop is good. You block a lot of the hands that connect with it.
He goes for the typical min-bet. Just pretend he checked and raise it.

Turn is the same. Blank card. But your raise here is too big imo. Take it slow.
River is ridiculous. He could've been throwing the min-bets all the way down with a 9 or a Q.
I know this sounds crazy, but I'm probably just calling /raising small. It's a really weird spot, especially because he had 185BB to start the hand with, not typical for a weak player.

Weird line of most likely a weak player, but after the flop raise I would slow down, because you don't want to blow up the pot and I doubt he will ever fold if you raise.

Don't forget a stack size says not everything of a player. He could easy won a lucky pot earlier.

Flop raise is fine (maybe a big too big though) but turn it's becoming thin. I'd call or raise way smaller at least. River you can't raise anymore.

Agree. We can definitely raise OTF and maybe the sizing is fine there, but this kind of villain can play a lot of hands like this and I wouldn't be super confident that you are ahead. I think raising the turn is still ok but I would go smaller.
