Overpair on monoton board vs. 2 players

I don't play this high, but I'll say what I think about it.

It's likely someone has a spade, so a bet to make them fold is not going to work most of times imo.
A check-raise always sucks in a spot like this.
I think checking behind and re-evaluate your hand OTT is a good play, especially against 2 more players.
Against a single player betting is probably better most of the times, but in a 3-way pot I like how you played.

If we are thinking about "optimal" play, then check is probably just fine. I don't have any good population analysis on NL50 but I still believe that villains will raise you less than they should, especially multiway, which could mean you should cbet more often. Something like 1/3 pot could work here too? If you get raised in a multiway monotone board I think you can let this go.

Spots like this are often supposed to be checked whole range. That's poker, but luckily they don't happen often.

@la55i got a great point, Mine Beting range in these spots is any Aspade Kx combo draw, AxKspade combo draw, qq+ and sets, and I bet all for 1/4 pot in this spot.

I think main leak of mine range is that I dont really have any 89s 78s in mine range bc I dont 3 bet does hands... But I do have A2-A5s and I bet equally all range the same.

Mine second barell is most turns for same sizing if only 1 player continues... IF I get rised, then I look a bit more close to what I hold and how to processed...

I got 2,3 times people stacks, when I was flopping nuts, and they over called me and jammed river with random 8x hand...

If I dont have a spade in your particular case, I like 2x barrel for 1/4 and giving up vs aggression... only problem is if I face min rise aggression then I dont really know what to do... Still didnt happen.

If you dont like 1/4 I am sure 1/3 works even better with creating fold equity...

Btw Mine play assumes that I assume that villans are more on regular side. If I have any, info that villan is near a fish... plays turns to pot bet jam blank turn.

I just know fish, is calling jam with ANY, LITTERALY ANY 1 SPADE HAND.

Some common fishy signs... unregular stack size, dumb min rise on your open pfr, limping off course, flating oop vs 3bet with out investment in pot... etc...

I just have a flesh back of a guy who called turn all in in similar situation with 89 one spade... I had nuts from flop.

When I play I activity try to avoid spots vs regs, or people who look regular, I try to target more does players....

Could be big leak of mine game...
