MPvsBU

Hi, any ideas what is the best way to play this hand?
Is it obvious fold on river? Don't have any notes about opp.

Flop: I want to let the opp to bluff with draw hands like JQ, JT, QT. I am also ahead vs KQ, KJ, KT and lots of pocket pairs except 99 .

Turn: I am still ahead vs his bluffs, not sure if he would bet K pair hands on turn, probably not. Only two pairs K9 if flat called preflop and pocket 99 can go for value + some Ax combos as well.

River: ???? some bluff combos complete and pocket 99, AJ, KJ still can go for value.

When analizing this hand it looks like a clear fold OTR. Any ideas? Thanks!

Nice flop check and nice hand all the way. I wouldn't fold on the river. What's better than two pairs to protect your checking range against three barrels ?

Why do you think this is a clear fold OTR? You have two pair and I know for sure he's not throwing 3 barrels with QT or the flushdraw (maybe with QTh).
You beat K9, KJ, all aces (except AK, but that's unlikely given pre-flop action). I like the call OTR.
This hand was played in a way that he just doesn't know what you have imo. Check-call three times really hides the strength of your hand. That's why I think this river is a call.

Thanks guys for confirming that my play was good :f_grin: NL10 is the lowest limit in this room and I think pool is not 3 barreling often enough thats why opp's range should be overfilled with value hands when 3 barreling imo. I would not be in doubt if have any notes about opp light bluffing, but he was a new opp to me.

I like the way you played it I would do exactly the same.Id much rather the river didn't complete the flush but such is life.

I guess x/r turn is way better because of the BDF.. or you have to fold flop because you're already crushed..
As played, river is very sick.. vs random I would fold, there's more SD value than value cut for Vilain here imo..

I would always bet flop small here

All these aren't folding to a small bet
You can bet 1/3 psb
And then check call blank turns for max value from those

As played
rough spot the way we played it here

he shouldn't have many K9 here at all
KJ checks turn or flop
QT hit
QJ has a pair
And should bluff, but you know how are micro people - often won't do it when they hit a pair
And your range is face-up Ax at this point

Only reason to call is that he can be a fun guy that does this with AQ AT +has some random garbage that decided to bluff vs your check now
I wouldn't mind seeing you let this one go actually, even though in-game you just close eyes and call like everyone else would
