PLO8 Comparison of Equity for 3 starting hands

Did these results surprise you? To me, they look quite obvious - AA is such a strong high combo that a backup low (counterfeit protection) matters more than a backup high (AK is basically a broadway draw in AAK*). And of course, A62* is a worse lowdraw than A32* (the former loses the low half to 54** when a deuce and two A/3/6/7/8 cards land on the board), while the 6 doesn't contribute to the high card strength.

No surprise at all -- people were pretty much already agreed on the relative rankings.
The goal was merely to quantify them.

I was surprised that the AA26 hand was as good as it is.
The neat thing about having the 6 is that if two players both have wheels, the player with the 6 gets 3/4 of the pot,

Counterfeit protection is really useful -- even A8A2/ds is decent:
