MTT ITM Push or fold?

well its not atc but close to it if you overfold. This one an easy call. You have to call at least 40%. If you dont do it he can generate immediate profit by shoving any 2.

It's also good to know how big the antes in game is,but in most cases the SB could shove a extreme wide range.especially if he knows you calling to tight.

Antes are in the image -- 30K total, and 6 at the table, so 5K each

So you are saying that folding would be too tight?

Think this spot is a lot closer than it's made out to be. We gain very little $EV from winning a flip vs a big stack. It kinda depends on the payout structure and stacks at the other table.

Very very easy call. ICM is almost irrelevant in this spot as price jumps before final table are very small overall. Plus it's very tough to even create (realistic) situation where we could fold QTs versus SB 5bb deep even in final table.

According to Equilab

SB     48.76%  47.11%   1.64% { 33+, A2s+, K2s+, Q2s+, J4s+, T6s+, 96s+, 86s+, 76s, 65s, A2o+, K5o+, Q7o+, J7o+, T7o+, 98o } (50%)
BB     51.24%  49.60%   1.64% { QTs }

I don't have ICMIzer or similar, and I used the 50% range because it produced a nearly 50/50 equity split, and I presume his overall range is much wider than that.

Compared to the top prize of $2800 the next pay jump was less than $50, so trying to fold up a ladder seemed senseless.
If I *did* double up, then I would effectively increase my payout by more than that.

you used 6 max icm. look at the top left of your corner. If you click on the 6 max you can choose icm or cev at the top. choose cev and do it again. If you need some help you can send me the hand or you watch some of collin's icmizer vids. He does that all the time.

Ah -- I'll do today's freebie the cev way.
I used the MTT option, and filled in the stacks at the other table -- I just guessed, but made sure that there were 5 with smaller stacks than mine since I was 11th out of 16.

I'll try again tomorrow.
As soon as I select chip EV it removed the MTT option.

In any case, it does appear that the call was OK

yep mtt option is for calculating icm. You cant use cev then.
