Hi,
When I run PS on my MAC the first screen I see is this one:

Unfortunately no matter what I click app starts and one sec after login window appears app is quitting and showing this:

Reinstalling PS did not help, the same as removing application state on mac.
Also in system preferences I have checked "close windows when quitting application".
I am out of ideas, could anyone help me with this issue or knows resolution?
Thanks.

Hi wilq7,
I have limited experiences on Macs so I'm not much help.
You have done all that I would have suggested.

I would suggest that you contact PokerStars by email at support@pokerstars.eu
Send the email using the email address you registered with PokerStars

Include specific details about your Mac -- hardware model # and OS revision number.

Unless you're the only one in the world with this problem, they will know what to do.

Best of luck,
VS

Hi guys,

Just like VorpalF2F - I also have no experience in iOS version of the PokerStars software, but googled for that issue and saw similar cases.
In some it crashes every time user logoff, in some if they click "Events" tab, in some cases it happen ingame.
I can only assume, but it might be related with the last update, where they removed the festive theme.

Unfortunately didn't manage to find a solution (with some users re-install works until next crash, but saw it doesn't for you), but since it might happen when you are at the tables - it's better to contact their support to get more information, as this could lead to even more unpleasant experience. :(

It will be great if you get s reply from their side and share it here with us :f_thumbsup:

Kind regards,
Alex

Had the same issue this morning, so did a little digging, cause we all know how long it takes stars support to reply. Followed this guide from their support site and I'm now able to open it up again.

Consider backing up your notes before deleting the folder from the library btw.

Thanks for posting that link JCSeerup, and for the advice about the notes.

On a Windows machine, the notes file is called
notes.<username>.xml

Is it the same on a Mac?

Cheers,
VS

Yes there is a 'notes.<username>.xml' and a 'notes.<username>.xml.bak'. Not sure which one it is, so I just backed up both to be sure.

the .bak file is saved every time you make a manual change to your notes.

It might be saved only when the program exits -- I never checked.
the .xml file is the current notes.
