Hi you beautiful people,

I stumbled over the term "All-in EV". Can somebody please explain, what this ratio means, what it's useful for and what's a good All-in EV e.g. for NLH 6-Max Micro CGs?

Thank you in advance and have a lucky time!

Hi Foldjudge,
Most trackers have this statistic. It shows your equity in a hand at the time you go all in.
This works if you call a raise and put yourself all-in or if you shove and get called.

Until that point, the opponents hole cards are not visible to the tracker, however as soon as all the cards are known, the tracker records your Ev (expected value)

This stat is useful for judging whether or not you are shoving (or calling) too wide.

For example, let's assume you have lost 500 BB in a session, but your All-in EV shows that you "should have" been up 500 BB then you know that you were getting it in ahead.

Here are a couple of articles from the PokerTracker website that go into more detail:

Thank you so much, that was really helpful. So I think for now, as a beginner, it's a stat I can confidently ignore. But it's a progress in knowledge nethertheless! Thx a lot!
