What's the deal with Pokerstars Customer Service?

I've tried to set up a new account on PS. I had one previously but I cant remember the email address used or my username. So set up a new one to get started.

This was on Monday. I emailed them and still had no reply, yet they are very active on Social Media.

I realise that it may be different teams. But if I had a real problem, I would feel terrible if it would take a week to reply to a problem.

How can they have this reputation for great service yet fail to reply in a timely manner?

William Hill got back to me within 4 hours when I tried to claim money from an old betting account.

Pokerstars does not allow two accounts.

It seems they want the deal to be exclusive and offer the clowns some sort of illusion if maney, however they must be aware such small peanuts are of course no problem to the people in charge and are of course to be disregarded.

They could reply to my email though. Like I say, I don't remember any of the old details because it was a long long time ago. It's very discourteous for them to not even reply

Hi Ch0pperReid,
You don't say what email address you used.
Was it support@starsaccount.com
or perhaps support@starsaccount.eu
I have recently had emails from both those addresses.
There is also support@pokerstars.eu, but I think that one of the above addresses would be better.

Some hints:
:diamond:  Have a very specific subject line: Please help recovering old account for example
:diamond:  Give them as much information as you possibly can. Although you cannot perhaps have access to your old email, you can provide them with the street address you had at the time -- since you presumably verified this, they will be able to identify you that way.
:diamond:  Be very polite, professional and courteous in your dealings.

All the best,
VS

Thanks for the reply VS. I was instructed to use the marketingsecurity@starsaccount.com so that's what I did.

I may send a further email with a bit more detail, like you suggested. I am not au fait with just how much info I should be giving to poker sites etc.
