$0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players

CO: 256 BB
BTN: 192.2 BB
Hero (SB): 102.2 BB
BB: 110.7 BB

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K♦ 8♥

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2.2 BB, BB calls 1.2 BB

Flop: (4.4 BB, 2 players) 2♠ 6♠ Q♥
Hero bets 1.5 BB, BB calls 1.5 BB

Turn: (7.4 BB, 2 players) J♥
Hero bets 3.7 BB, BB calls 3.7 BB

River: (14.8 BB, 2 players) 5♦
Hero bets 17.8 BB, fold

Hero wins 14.8 BB

Q.
Villain 40/20 no real history other than 10 hands. If sample higher + still 40 vpip probably to risky to do this. I use the 10% rule what means if I can win showdown 10%, I triple barrel river.
Lots of missed draws... river is a blanco what means It is a good card to bluff or not?

Can I represent something here on his board, that is the question? If not than doing a triple barrel makes no sense?!

you have all nutted hands in your range (or do you have some sizing tell?), but i'd tend towards giving up turn as you have no real equity whatsoever. it seems very likely that your aggression frequencies are way over the top.

I have really, really bad history triple barrelling
Nice that it worked out for you.
This looks like a good hand to do it with though.

AQ, KQ, QJ all more-or-less fit your range.
Opponent can have busted draws or calling down with faint-hope small PP

Since if he does have the small PP the river bluff is the only way you'll win this.

Nice hand

You have no equity. Flop is a x/f.

Thanks for your reply. Do we need equity to have a successful 3 barrel? If no than of course any bet sizing tell would be important what I did not have right here. So yes to aggressive cause not enough information to do it. If you fold every time you got no equity in the hand you will be easily bullied! Flop was not to wet besides a flus draw or indeed a weak pair.

I don't mind just checking folding this flop as well, id look for some sort of equity on the flop one over card doesn't really allow us to play to many turns well.If you had the Ks even 8s it makes a better cbet as you can now barrel on any turned spade and you also have the over card K and also the 8 will play sometimes and give you showdown value on some run outs vs hands like 76s 77 55 etc..

This is incorrect.
Often when we have no equity we should be folding. Trying to win every pot with no equity,.. well you can post me your results after 50k hands :f_biggrin:
What you should look to do, is find spots where we miss our draw. Such as double barreling a flush draw, missing on the river, having no showdown value then turning it into a bluff.

Not only that, but where it is likely that opponent missed his draw also.
Other bluff spots:
:diamond:  Board pairs
:diamond:  4th card of a suit
:diamond:  Scare card such as :Kx: or :Qx: -- Aces less so since so many recs are playing A-rag hands

Let's build that list...
