$0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players

SB: 99.2 BB
Hero (BB): 100 BB
UTG: 101.5 BB
MP: 107 BB
CO: 60.1 BB
BTN: 15.6 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has T♠ 9♠

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 11 BB, SB calls 8 BB

Flop: (22 BB, 2 players) A♥ 9♦ A♦
SB checks, Hero bets 11 BB, SB calls 11 BB

Turn: (44 BB, 2 players) K♠
SB checks, Hero bets 22 BB, SB raises to 77.2 BB and is all-in, fold

SB wins 88 BB

Q.

Versus villain with 67/33 call pre would be better! This villain has a lot of Aces in his range. Halve pot flop OK, Turn should be a check once he calls. Should I bet turn also?

Is T9s in your standard 3Bet range Blind v Blind?
Or is this just because he plays so wide?

I would normally call pre in this spot, but I like the bets OTF and OTT
Pretty much have to fold the turn though...

not sure why you make it 11bb pre. no need to bloat the pot so much. 3betting is fine with 109s although you can call it.
if it is a loose player calling is better. you want to have a depolarized 3betting range vs a fish as he can call 3bets with 10A 10K 8K ect which our suited connectors can be dominated against.

as played i think you can give up on this turn. it's a 3b pot and putting any more money into this feels wrong.
you can go for a small bet of 25% - 1/3 on the turn, but even that could be -ev.
it's not exactly a profitable spot so as played, i'd just give it up.

I know the meaning of this word however I do not grasp why we need to have depolarized range vs a fish. If we would have a polarized range here we either have nothing so we fold or are ahead mostly because he could have the same kinda hands you just described?

What I am missing? Thank you for your time.

T9s would fall in to a polerized range it's not a value 3bet it's a semi/bluff pre vs a fish you want to just 3bet more for value or depolerized with a wider value range. The point of 3betting T9s pre is the fold equity you ideally want to win the pot uncontested pre , but if called T9s has good playability postflop.

Red explains it well.

If you think about the hands a perceived fish calls with. He may call with a hand like 7Ks, 8Qs that a regular would usually fold.
So if we are raising with 78s preflop, we aren't gaining anything by 3betting, as we can often be dominated.
And as Reds mentioned, the fold equity we usually get vs a regular, is lost on the fish. ("fold equity" in this instance just means that we win the pot pre-flop sometimes when our opponent folds to our raise)
.
Vs a regular, if we 3bet the 78s, we expect him to call with a tighter range that we retain equity against. Such as AJo, AQo, ect. And we get more folds pre-flop, making the 3bet profitable.

Hope this helps.
