QQ on the flop

Any history on this guy?

I would find it very difficult to fold this -- at least OTF
His range is very wide, but the big guns -- JJ+ AJ+ would have (or should have) 3Bet pre.
That leaves 3 combos of 88 and 3 combos of 33 that knock you out of the park.

I would at the very least see a turn [1]

[1] In actual fact, I would re-raise this flop, but I tend to do stuff like that. I'm told it's spewy

Villain 3bet doesn't make so much sense. The board is quite dry. If they had a set they would probably just call.
I would probably call and give up if villain continues aggresively.

Reminds me of Yeti Theorem. But that seems a bit outdated in todays games.

Anyway I would most likely call and her-evaluete the turn. Tough to give a random villain credit for ony a set.

To save others the trouble:

“A 3-bet on a dry flop (preferably paired) is almost always a bluff.”

I do it a lot at NL 5 but I've no idea whether it is long-term successful because of sample size.

for this bet sizing for this pot size i find it super hard to fold. If you fold this by default then it's almost seems scared money.
If by any chance we know that he is not a complete maniac, then we become more conservative for turn and river.
But i think on NL2 there is a sea of people doing it with complete air, or overplaying top pairs, even with loosy kickers, gutshots etc.
