The villain is a player who I saw for the first time today. He is is 68/18 preflop, but all the times I saw him reaching showdown before that he showed really strong hands. His reraise on the flop is really big so I don`t really know what to think. I didn`t like the idea that I expected him to bet a lot on the next streets and I had to call maybe if I call here. IS it really bad to fold top pair on such spot?

If you only met this guy today, the sample size is quite small, but even so 68/18 is pretty major maniac territory.
Against a check raise, without the best kicker, and no draws except back doors, the fold looks sensible.

You can check here, board is very dry and only A is a scary... You haven't 3 street, you don't bet with bluff in 4way and maybe when you check CO can bet random :)

As played ok bet fold, but I prefer a check
