2Pair vs 3pair?

If player A has A♠ & A♥ and player B has 9♣ & K♠ and the community cards are K♣, 9♠, 8♦, 8♥ & Q♦,
Player A would have a Pair or A and a Pair of 8, while
Player B has a pair of K, a pair of 9 & a pair of 8.
Who would win in this scenario?

Hi binoop,
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com! :welcome:
I quite agree with anem804, you must understand the basic rules.

The short answer:
When comparing two-pair hands, compare the highest-ranked pair first.
You only take the lower-ranked pair into consideration when the high-ranked pairs are the same.

3 pairs can't be a hand at all, because only your best 5 cards are considered.

But don't stop there.
It is critical that you understand the material in those 12 basic lessons.
Once you have read them though, I suggest that you check out the free money offers and bonus offers and sign up using one of the PokerStrategy.com links.

This way, you'll be able to start playing with OPM (other people's money  )
When you're ready to start, get going with The No-Limit Lesson Overview which is a structured walk-through of the fundamental material.

Best of luck :gl:,
