Villain unknown

PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

BB: $6.24 (124.8 bb)
CO: $4.74 (94.8 bb)
Hero (BTN): $5.23 (104.6 bb)
SB: $9.52 (190.4 bb)

SB posts $0.02, BB posts $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has A♣: Q♣:
fold, Hero raises to $0.12, fold, BB calls $0.07

Flop: ($0.26, 2 players) Q♥: 8♦: T♥:
BB checks, Hero bets $0.17, BB raises to $0.55, Hero calls $0.38

I am not sure what kind of range will raise here? FD's maybe? Or QT, J9, 88 for protection? I don't think he will raise here with hands like KQ, QJ

Turn: ($1.36, 2 players) T♦:
BB bets $0.80, Hero folds

This is a value bet IMO, so I am folding..

Results: $1.36 pot ($0.06 rake)
Final Board: Q♥: 8♦: T♥: T♦:

BB wins $1.30

when you put villain on such a range, why do even continue?

the turn is one of the best cards in the deck for you. so either you fold on the flop, or you call down all the way as long, as the bord does not get worse.

calling the flop and folding here is burning money.

Do I understand it correctly, that T on Turn is a good card for me because it is lowering the chance that the villain might have a T in his hand? And it actually improves my hand against Q8... Or am I completely lost? :f_biggrin:
