Villain unknown

PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

BTN: $8.61 (172.2 bb)
SB: $5.02 (100.4 bb)
Hero (BB): $5.20 (104 bb)
CO: $5.66 (113.2 bb)

SB posts $0.02, Hero posts BB $0.05

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.07) Hero has A♠: 3♠:
fold, BTN raises to $0.10, fold, Hero calls $0.05

I am sometimes calling, sometimes 3-betting this hand. I guess his min-raise looks like a steal attempt, so maybe it would be better to 3bet here.

Flop: ($0.22, 2 players) A♦: A♣: 2♠:
Hero checks, BTN checks

inducing bluff cbet, did not work

Turn: ($0.22, 2 players) T♥:
Hero bets $0.11, BTN calls $0.11

here I think after review, I should have bet bigger. Like 2/3.

River: ($0.44, 2 players) 5♥:
Hero bets $0.21, BTN raises to $2.07, Hero folds

same here, 2/3. The raise looks like a set of fives to me. Can you change my mind?

Results: $0.86 pot ($0.04 rake)
Final Board: A♦: A♣: 2♠: T♥: 5♥:

BTN wins $0.82

Well, perhaps we could change your mind about the set of 5s.
A5 also makes sense, as does AT
But then, I can see AJ+ also playing like this.
In any case, you're beat so the fold is good

Though spot and hand with the low kicker. Bet size on the turn should me 2/3 pot.

Would you have called with AJ+?
And would you called a 3bet on the river instead of a shove?
Curious about your thoughts.
GG on folding river
