Hi guys,

Villain is a complete unknown. Should I push here as he can have some draws? Calling doesn't seem a good option as Im going to see many bad cards OTT.

I think either shove or fold.
88/44/JJ but I would call with those I think. Or he is protecting his flushdraw/straightdraw?

9T or Ax of diamonds. Would not expect a lot of gutshots here. Though on man

Fold is never option there as you fear only sets and he has a lot of other hands that will consider raising - QQ,AJ, T9 ,flushdraws... Without A♦: I'm always shoving this. With Ad I dont mind calling him down on almost every runout.

Prefer calling with the Ad without the Ad i think i prefer shoving as you then unblock those draws.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I have a lot to learn too, but that's why we're here.
By the way, I decided to push and villain folded. So at least I won the hand :f_biggrin:

As a follow-up on this question: how would you change your plays if you replace AA by KK, QQ, or JJ?

I would shove, in this spot otf you still have the 70-81% equity against his range, calling the bet you are risking having later street lowering it
