KTo in SB BvB vs new player

Im not sure the cbet is standard you really dont need the protection here if another A comes its good for your hand and you have the back door straight draw with middle pair.It's a one or two street value hand likely just the one street of value and allowing villain to hit a pair is ok here if a an 8 9 J Q rolls off we can let villain catch up a bit enough to pay a small river bet.We also allow villain to throw in a few bluffs when we check and control the size of the pot with a showdown value hand so we just want to be in showdown mode right from the flop imo.And if we improve on the turn we can start thinking more in terms of two pure streets of value rather than just the one and you block the potential draws like QT TJ.

Check flop should be standard.
Start with c/c for 1-2 streets based on sizing and runout.

I'm not understanding yet how to judge how many "streets of value" I can get out of a hand.

No sorry i dont im just going from experience i mean what worse calls if you bet the flop and turn k9 or third pairs ? and the draws are only gutters.I just think everything worse folds vs a double barrel unless you make the price ridiculously good. You could check the flop and bet the turn and river but you would want villain to have a hand like KT in that spot when your checking weak top pairs Ax weak kicker on the flop.I just think your hand is basically a 1 street value hand which can induce some bluffs with checks unless we improve on later streets.Im not sure what solvers would do as i dont use them but id be surprised if they do much other than lots of checking on flop and turn, maybe someone can run it in a solver.As for Ax being more in SB range i dont think so SB is raising all Ax and BB is defending all Ax sometimes 3betting A2o-A5o but defending all Ax vs sb in some fashion.

I would add that the more vulnerable your middle pair is the more you would want to cbet and protect your hand maybe but with KT on AK3 rainbow your hand just isnt vulnerable to over cards.

I agree with all said above. I would Cbet on a more coordinated flop for protection vs draws but on this dry texture I think checking is better and it shows weakness so villain may want to steal the pot and then we can just call.
