I'd like to know how raise sizing is calculated based on %.
I haven't been able to find the answer on the Internet. There are threads on how to calculate POT size bet but that's now what I want.
When I was watching a Twitch streamer yesterday, I noticed this:
UTG open raised 2.5bb
POT was 4 bb
HERO raised 75% and the raise was 7.4bb
How?
Another situation:
HJ open raised 2bb
POT was 3.5bb
HERO raised 75% and the raise was 6.1bb

First hero has to call the 2.5BB bet, so the pot becomes 4bb + 2.5bb = 6.5bb
Than he raises 75% pot, which is 0.75 * 6.5 = 4.9bb
So, he puts 4.9bb additionally over the 2.5bb, which becomes 7.4bb.

They both say much the same thing, but cover the situation where more than one player has bet ahead of you.
They calculate the "pot-sized raise" and I assume that 3/4 of that value would be the 75% under discussion.
I'll check it out today if I play.
