KJo - Merged Flop Raising or x/c?

i do not call a button raise OOP. preflop, it's a 3bet or fold hand.

As played... you cannot c/f river.
I tend to play b/c

OOP i prefer x/c the flop and turn here. His range is a lot wider en you don't want to blow up the pot because you have showdown value.
He has all the Ax in his range and a lot suited hands here. You don't block the nutflush.

Pre flop c/ 3bet are both fine... as button depending on his steal percentage should have a wide range.

Flop- I can go either way with check call or check raise- as you do have a blocker to the flush. But I think I prefer a call. Small hand = small pot. 11bb. You ended up inflating the pot. With the check raise.

Turn. Check call and see what happens on the river.

SB and BB are two different positions.
SB - you should limit cold calling due to fact that you are serving as dead money for BB - he can squeeze, he can call and both options are bad for you.
BB - you are closing action and you can only look at equity of your hand against villain range. There are no players behind that can make calling less attractive.

As played - raising this against polar bet is probably too thin. You should not raise often as JJ and 99 are in 3bet range so 44 is your only set. In general you should focus on J9 and 44 as your main value check/raise and add some draws too. As played its check/call on turn. You dont want to continue there often as 4 is worst card in deck for your range - not only it decreases sets you have but also lowers value of J9s as QQ+ are now winning. I'm not loving this spot, but I think you have to go with your hand and you should not fold on turn.
