From what I can see here, I am hoping I would call.
I tend to give a lot of weight to big river bets though (in other words, I'm πŸ”)

There are a lot of hands like AT, QQ+ and so on that can do this, as well as busted flushes and lots of bluffs
Yes there is a made straight showing, but it was runner-runner
Sets are live as well, but overall...

Now let's here what the real experts think

I would just reraise big on the turn or just shove and try getting it in on the turn on NL 2 :f_drink:. calling openraise in SB vs BTN on NL 2 villian is probably not the smartest player of all time. He might slowplay QQ KK AA or showing up with some QT of clubs or some set or just AJ who knows. I would probably take a note on that player too.

+1, crucial point of this hand is not river but turn where I think you have mandatory reraise. As played i'm not folding river. If he has KQ then he got my money.

I would push the turn or villian is really tight. As played the river seems like a black. Offcourse some straights are possible now, but it seems strange to min raise turn with a draw and shove the river. I would call against a unknown, but it's tricky for sure.

That is an interesting spot.

I like your play, although as others said I think I'm re-shoving into his min-raise and hoping he calls with his overpairs and draws.

His shove on the river is tricky and I think I am folding... I hate it, but I think that's what I'm doing... (If I was going to call out villain's hand it's 8♣:7♣: )

this is indeed a very interesting spot and the reason why I want to spend more time in this part of the forum.

Other than echoing the Turn raise or shove part , I was thinking that :
- I'm really trying to convince myself to call a bit less on these situations. Not fold by default but at least consider it.
- The profile of the villain would give me the tipping blow even if there are very few hands. If you see a very passive villain doing mraise turn and shove river I would give me credit and let it have it this time (taking a small note) . But if he is at least a semi aggressive one then I call more often than potodds.
- Another element I was thinking on these kind of spots and wanted your opinion (I might be totally off) is to take into consideration your mental ranking / or tilt ranking at the time of the hand. Meaning if you are in a period or session that a bad call or a bad result here does nothing to you, you only chuckle :milord: and move on, then I would be more included to call.

BUT... if a loss here puts me on minor or major tilt :why: then I prefer to lose the 25.5bb and move on.

I don't think there is any reason to 3bet/shove the turn with the flush draw your hand needs far less protection and it's a a good river for you it only really improves KQ clubs and 78 clubs. The real worry is that villain flopped a set with 55's or 22's as JJ and 99 is less being 3bet a'lot and you having blockers. But for me there is just little reason to do anything else other than call the turn given your specific hand and the board.

Turn all In or a big raise. River I am calling with 2 blockers to flush and there isn’t a OESD on flop…. The only hand I feel villain may have is a set, but the am paying him off.

Reason for me shoving is villain is call AJ and all BIG pairs of you slow played you also may get a call from QJ and KJ
