SB vs BTN KK on A high board

Yeah Axx flop with KK not what you're hoping for. I'm not sure if this is a standard c-bet or not, I guess it depends. Yes you're river bet was too large and doesn't give you value.

Flop is 100% cbet for me. And turn sizeing is little off too. In 3bet pots click over 1/2pot is OK. As played on flop I would bet turn and river kind of smallish side and fold to raise/shove ofcource without special reads.

If you want to X otf, bet ott small… max right under half pot and otr you can bet again on smallish side or you can XC reasonable bets. OTR I would XC personaly anything under 1/2 pot without thinking…and even more with some thinking about villain type and with some freqency I call overbets as missed draws tends to do so. That is as played. Your line is ok, but the sizing is too large on both streets.

But I would cbet otf in the first place as I cbet almost 100% 3bet pots. And from SB I would use bigger 3bet sizing - standard is 4x preflop.

You are not going to get a lot of value from any worse hands. I would go into check/call (bluff catch) mode and not bet flop.

So to summarize. Cbet or not cbet with KK on Axx flop. It depends on playing style and presonal preference. But only proceed with caution and keep the pot small unless you have more outs or one of those remaining kings come up obviously.

I will CBet this flop all day long, but when called I'll check/call the turn and river — assuming the bets are within reason.

I like your delayed c bet ..but that could change if we have some reads.. Imho well played. I wouldn't bet smaller on river.

Preflop biger 3B - 4-5x from SB. Flop 100% C-bet you ahve stronger Ax in range for your 3B vs only call 3B. Turn Check-fold, Check-call by the bet size.

I always c/bet my preflop 3/bets, and bet 40% of the pot for all my value and bluff hands.

With multiple callers to the flop, a check is sometimes warranted. For example, if the villains are stations who play rag aces, then a check is fine. It's pointless turning your hand into a bluff with fish who won't fold weak aces.

If the callers are tight players, I will c/bet unless the flop is really wet.

If a fish is last to act, and the player after me is tight, I will check, and see if the reg bets and gets the fish to fold. A min 3/bet will often get them to fold their steal attempt. If they call or 4/bet I am usually done with it.

So to recap, if the flop is heads up, c/bet 40%. If the flop is multi handed, observe which player types are involved in the hand, before deciding how to act.

If called, I'll check it down, but will let it go if raised, or if opponent gets aggro on later streets
