Hello,

Could it be possible to add feature on youtube tag that would allow time stamped links? Currently it doesn't seem to be supported.

Yes please — it would be most helpful, since so many times a person posts a 5-hour video to show a few seconds only.

I can tell you that YouTube does support time-stamped links. You can create a time-stamped link by adding the timestamp to the end of the video URL in the following format: "?t=XXmYYs" where "XX" represents the number of minutes and "YY" represents the number of seconds. For example, if you want to link to a specific point in a video that is 2 minutes and 30 seconds in, you would add "?t=2m30s" to the end of the URL. When someone clicks on the link, the video will start playing from the specified timestamp.

Quite correct, however links with timestamps don't work in forum posts.
(or didn't the last time I checked)

Hey,

Small update regarding the youtube embeds on the forum: You can now use timestamps when embedding a YT video. Timestamps should be all in seconds (which you automatically get when clicking the "share" button on youtube).

So, if you want to share a video starting at 03:00, the link would be for example:
