6+ first hand in — is 3Bet shove making sense here?

PF you are in MP (BB actually has the BU) and have a limp in front. Here we overlimp 100% of our range. If someone behind isoraises we just call with the JJ. Suppose CO isoraises and BTN or UTG shoves it's a fold in this spot.

I think I would play this hand the same way you did, but I don't play 6+ Hold'em.

6+ is a completely different game, mostly due to the 1 BB ante structure. also equities run differently. so it really makes no sense to apply NL here.

JJ compares more to a mid PP like 77. so it is not strong enough, to get it in pre. iso raising does not make sense either, because we have no edge to push.

so just follow Fredjen.

Interesting hand, I watch the short deck game on Triton Poker channel sometimes, I know that the flush beats full house.

I have never played it though. It would be interesting to learn, perhaps.

Limp-Reraise in the normal game is AA/KK pretty often, that's all I know. I learned to limp along opponents with "red notice" just so that I can crack them.

I'm considering paying for a course in this. It has huge potential, and there are huge numbers of players who are playing it wrong (like me )

for more the rake is to high and the game has less edge. you basically have to flip all the time.

From this page Special games table rake it appears that the rake is 4.15% for NL5

When comparing it to NL5 standard hold'em on Poker Table Rake they're the same at that limit.
GGPoker has higher rake — 5% but the cap is considerably lower — See: 6+ Short Deck Table Information

when you messure rake in bb/100 (or antes in this case), it is getting exorbitant, as you will play so many more big pots compared to NL.

At micro's the rake is indeed super high but it's def beatable with a highe rwinrate afther rake than in NL holdem.
