I think you need to bet this turn.
Alternatively, bet/fold the river, the idea being making the river bet a blocker bet

Not to sure it would be nice to hear how a solver plays this spot from villains and heroes perspective. It doesn't feel like shoving in theory should be the best play. But in reality vs micro stakes player pools im probably just raising and getting it in on the turn as we are pretty much at the top of our range with a low spr.

I would consider leading the turn. I doubt JJ/QQ bets 1/3 on such a draw heavy texture.

Can i ask why you didn't bet river here. You have trips and he checks the turn, what do you think his range is? Easy value bet.

I went for check/call or check/raise.

I think betting turn and river is probably better, now.

Flop call seems marginal with 2 over cards on the board, but if you call like now I would check/raise the turn. I would always check to the aggressor.

River is for me a value bet of around half pot. If you check you could miss value. Now I would call villains big bet. I don't think there are to many weaker hands that would call a shove.

Very good point about betting river after turn goes check/check.

Maybe it was a punt for me to get to river this way but after his big bet on river, I started thinking about the range that can call my river CR, and I didn't see enough merit in it to do it.
