Hey guys, so not a specific hand but I was just playing a session where I lost 3x100BB BIs running QQ into KK / AA playing 6-max Zoom. Mix of 4-bet calling and 5-bet shoving.

I don’t want to be results orientated but thought I’d check it’s standard to go broke with QQ in 6-max right? I don’t use a hud and play zoom so I don’t have specific stats.

I'm no expert at NL 25 or zoom in general, however in general I play zoom much tighter. 🐔
You don't say what the relative positions are when you had QQ.
If UTG opens, I would likely flat QQ and check/call the flop — but carefully if there is an A or K OTF
If MP or later opens, I'll 3Bet/5Bet (shove if stack sizes are low enough)

With zoom, you can't build a hand history versus specific opponents easily, so it's necessary to go by general rules.

It's always hard to give good feedback without knowing the stack dynamic on the table and how the hands went.
In most cases I don't think it's bad to stack of QQ for 100bb effective, but it's really villain depended as well.

I've never played zoom at NL25, but at the NL2 tables, if there is a lot of preflop action, 4betting/5betting, more often than not, it's KK+

Sorry everyone, I forgot I posted this. At NL25, there’s a lot of 3 bettings happening and it won’t be just premium hands.

I think there’s a lot of value in 4 betting QQ, and because of the 3 bet frequency at the limit, people do 4 bet lighter / some 4 bet bluffs. There’s some value in calling IP I think but thought I’d see what others thought.

Sounds just like 2NL, so here's my 2c, GET IT IN :profit:

Disclaimer: You can fold if your opponent has KK+ or a hand that sucks out well against QQ
