It is quite likely I played this atrociously, but I'd like to hear your comments.
PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.10/$0.25 - 6 players
UTG: $25.82 (103 bb)
MP: $25.61 (102 bb)
CO: $24.55 (98 bb)
BU: $33.56 (134 bb)
SB: $29.72 (119 bb)
BB (Hero): $26.84 (107 bb)
Pre-Flop: ($0.35) Hero is BB with 5♠:K♠:
2 players fold, CO raises to $0.50, 2 players fold, Hero calls $0.25 This would clearly be a fold, but I'm getting extremely good pot odds
Flop: ($1.10) Q♦:5♦:J♠: (2 players)
Hero checks, CO checks
Turn: ($1.10) T♣: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.72, CO calls $0.72 CO doesn't seem to want the pot, so I attack the check
River: ($2.54) 3♥: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.97, CO folds Why bet/fold is the preferred option.
Total pot: $2.54 (Rake: $0.11)
BB (Hero) wins $2.43
So the things this hand is an example of:
BB can defend extremely wide against a min-raise heads-up
Attack the check. If raised, I'm happy to get the hell out of Dodge
Bet/Fold > check/call In this hand I'm suspecting opponent had pp between 66 - 99, but we'll never know.
