Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

$0.5/$1 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4:d, 4:s.
5 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) J:h, T:s, 2:s (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 6:d (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.25 BB) T:h (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.25 BB.
I was against loose passive player. Can i play so, or should had to check turn and fold to him bet. But if i played so, i overplayed?

Hello!

It depends on how showdown bound is he. If he's very showdown bound I don't see a point of betting turn and I think you can quite easily fold to a bet with 4th pair, if he very often folds turn then you might have FE even though this isn't a scare card and can therefore bet for FE. I'd usually just give up on turn though, I don't like playing 4th pairs vs. calling stations.
