iPoker - €1 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 5 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

BB: €100.00 (100 bb)
UTG: €154.53 (154.5 bb)
CO: €100.00 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): €198.00 (198 bb)
SB: €394.38 (394.4 bb)

SB posts €0.50, BB posts €1.00

Pre Flop: (pot: €1.50) Hero has 8♠: K♠: 7♣: A♣:
UTG raises to €3.50, fold, Hero raises to €12.00, SB raises to €40.50, fold, UTG calls €37.00, Hero ?

SB is a solid 25/20/6 regular (over the last years playing on that site he is the only player which play I find actually pretty decent, all others reg seem to deviate heavily towards nutpeddling). EP is a 50/30/9 fishreg who underbets postflop. He has solid handstrength awarenesss and played solid after the last weeks but this session I saw some spews after he lost some stacks on PLO100. Since SB 4bet range is skewed to AAxx pretty much I can´t just 5bet-shove unfortunately. From the 3bp squeezing exercises I would guess this hand with Ace and King despite being double-suited would be a fold. So should I fold or flat this one ip?

In general we want really good connectivity with Axds hands to call versus 4bet and preferably without K. E.g. if checking BUvsEP 4bet spot (EP range is AAxx 75% of time) if we have Ax with K we should continue very selectively:

On other hand as we start to remove those high side cards call frequency start to get lot higher. Without K, Q or J we call around half:

Not sure how being 200bb deep affect this but lets see... So 200bb deep in same spot EP range is almost 90% of time AAxx. From AKds combos only AK54ds would continue to 4bet. If I remove K, Q and J again call range would be bit over 40%. So it seems like deeper stack spot will theory wise make EP range even more AA heavy and thus make these Axxx rundowns lose value further.

Now in this case there is this UTG guy potentially with way too wide range and we do have position. On other hand it create issue that if our 87 connect UTG might have rundowns to dominate us badly. So personally I would just fold to this action.

Yes, that flat-vs-4bet thing with frequency shift having Axds no Broadway card (K specifically) is also something I have noticed recently.

Yes, same thoughts here basically. I also like the fold more in hindsight, SB´s 4bet wrecked the profitability of the situation. Unfortunately I did not make the right play ingame for some reason, it could have been some unaware tilt going on cause session was pretty wild.

I can't help but laugh a little for UTG play. Preflop is preflop, but that flop raise is... interesting. You are still behind, and I don't think AA would bet-fold that flop. Story is just missing that runner-runner flush for him.

UTG really played very solid postflop over 1-2k hands on PLO50. I was even wondering why I am not running him over with that preflop stats. He did pretty well but probably moved up to quickly. Then he lost some stacks in a row on PLO100 then (set-vs-set cooler against me then suckouts against another crazy donk), then started this sort of plays. Sometimes being patient could also mean to wait weeks or months for someone losing discipline. Another example of that session where UTG is now in SB:

iPoker - €1 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

BTN: €226.53 (226.5 bb)
SB: €100.00 (100 bb)

UTG: €367.30 (367.3 bb)
Hero (MP): €439.16 (439.2 bb)
CO: €297.72 (297.7 bb)

SB posts €0.50, BB posts €1.00

Pre Flop: (pot: €1.50) Hero has A♠: A♦: J♥: K♦:
UTG raises to €3.50, Hero raises to €12.00, 2 folds, SB calls €11.50, fold, UTG raises to €49.00, Hero raises to €160.00, SB calls €88.00, UTG calls €111.00

Flop: (€421.00, 3 players) Q♥: 7♣: 5♠:
UTG checks, Hero bets €279.16, UTG calls €207.30

Turn: (€835.60, 3 players) 4♦:

River: (€835.60, 3 players) 7♥:

Results: €835.60 pot (€2.00 rake)
Final Board: Q♥: 7♣: 5♠: 4♦: 7♥:

UTG shows 2♥: Q♦: 7♠: 5♦:: (Full House, Sevens full of Queens)
Main Pot: [€301.00]: (Pre 24%, Flop 45%, Turn 17%)
Side Pot: [€534.60]: (Pre 35%, Flop 79%, Turn 86%)

Hero mucks A♠: A♦: J♥: K♦:: (Two Pair, Aces and Sevens)
Main Pot: [€301.00]: (Pre 47%, Flop 16%, Turn 0%)
Side Pot: [€534.60]: (Pre 65%, Flop 21%, Turn 14%)

SB shows 9♥: 9♠: 3♦: 6♦:: (Straight, Seven High)
Main Pot: [€301.00]: (Pre 28%, Flop 39%, Turn 83%)

UTG wins €833.60

I would classify that as more as tilt. Perhaps monkey tilt :)
