Hi all

Was I being very stupid? Probably made a bad mistake on the river. But I can't believe this person called me all the way down to the river with his hand.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I was being very stupid, wasn't thinking straight. I can think of a million other ways to play this hand better.

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

$0.01/$0.02 No-Limit Hold'em (7 handed)

Known players:
[tg]BU$0.77:///////;SB(Hero)$1.98:///////;BB$0.85:///////;MP1$0.80:///////;MP2$0.47:///////;MP3$2.05:///////;CO$1.99:///////;[/tg]
Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:d, A:c.
MP1 posts deadblind, MP1 checks, 4 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, BB folds, MP1 calls $0.06.

Flop: ($0.18) 9:d, 4:s, 4:c (2 players)
Hero bets $0.06, MP1 calls $0.06.

Turn: ($0.30) 4:d (2 players)
Hero bets $0.10, MP1 raises to $0.2, Hero calls $0.10.

River: ($0.70) 3:h (2 players)
Hero bets $0.46, MP1 calls $0.46.

Final Pot: $1.62.

Results follow (highlight to see):

Hero shows three of a kind, fours (Qd Ac)
MP1 shows a full-house, fours full of threes (As 3d)
MP1 wins with a full-house, fours full of threes (As 3d).

Bet more flop (0.12 or so is OK). This minraise on turn looks weird, maybe to give it up here, but you have only 0.1 to call into 0.6 pot.
River c/f.

Yes I should have c/f on the river, that was my mistake.

Otherwise I probably played the hand ok. I figured he couldn't have held a 4 or a 9.

b/f on the turn. u beat nothing

Get use to it.
many micro-stakes players play bad and our FE against them is very little.

To the hand itself:

Preflop: Fine.

Flop: it's a good flop to cbet, make it a standard 2/3 pot bet.

Turn: you can fire a second barrel here but you will have to fold to a raise. again if you choose to bet, make it bigger.

River: as played: C/F the river, he will only fold worser hands.

Generall comment:

I suggest you read the article about bet sizes.

Good Luck,
