Hello everyone, this is my first post here I hope this discussion will help some people finding answers.
I’m from France I’m 26 and I grind MTT online for 2 years now. I decided to move to a cheaper country so I can allow grow my bankroll even faster with less expenses for the living.
After few months of searching information online, there are few questions remaining, if any of you got an idea it will help a lot.
As a poker player living in a foreign country I should avoid the french taxes on poker (which are terrible) -> but I guess the administration will still see the withdrawal from the poker platforms to my french bank account.
- Do poker players abroad always create foreign bank account and withdraw their earnings on it?
- do they use E-Wallet such as Revolut/Skrills/N26 etc and in this case does the E-Bank send records to the government ?
I heard Thailand has become one of the best destination for online poker grinders (I know gambling is illegal in thailand but online poker is in a grey zone and no law forbid it)
If anyone can share their experience of leaving in thailand to play online poker
