Used to play up to 25NL in the past but a lot has happened since then, that was probably 10 years ago by now.

Time for the first update!

Played a few hands today and had variance on my side. Even hit quads tonight

Trying my best to remember spots from the beginners guide to get a good foundation going for the game again. Will of course get better with time and hand reviews in the meantime. I'll do a more detailed review once I've played more hands to see what is going on.

The results of today is as follows:
Hands: 286
Result: +$4.09 (EV: +$3.43)

Current overall:
Hands: 286
Bankroll: $33.25 (+$4.09 since start)

That's a very significant jump in just 286 hands.
Just keep playing very disciplined. That is the key to success.
There have been so many sessions that run bad and then it's so tempting to take more risks and then you lose even more. Use the momentum when it goes well, but keep cool when you are down swinging.

Are you playing Poker Stars tracked?
You will easily reach the silver status and unlock some nice strategy topics which will help you to the next level.
I've learned a lot here at this site, but applying that knowledge is not always easy. It's so tempting to take a EV- shot every now and then.

Time for another update! Got the bright idea of switching site to get the chance to pull in a few bucks in deposit bonus and rakeback on the journey. So now I've moved my BR to GG instead of Stars.

Thanks for your advice mate, I'll probably return to playing on a tracked site once I get the beginners strategy under control. GG isn't trackable right now from what I can see.

Anyway, here goes the BR update, I'll just update the totals now since the BR move changed the total amount in my BR to lower than what I had on Stars:

Current overall:
Hands: 804
Bankroll: $31.30 (+$2.14 since start)

Hopefully I'll clear some bonuses as well to boost the BR at the start
