as he will often 3-bet any better hand we need 60%+ equity (just a guess) for a profitable check/raise.

That range is already pretty lose so against this range you should only calldown.

However I think a donkbet might be better because many TAGs like to cap the flop to take a freecard and call with a monster instead (I often do so against opponents who don't notice it :P).

Against a rasie after your donkbet it's may be closer (as no draw will raise again).

However it's the exact same equity. That is because you hold Q and with that you block the flushdras (all in the range above aren't possible at all).

Conclusion: The board/your hand are blocking a lot draw possibilities so your his range is pretty strong here.

Ok thank you i had a feeling that check/raise was a bit overplayed when i was playing , donk/call line looks pretty good here as u said.

Anyway i hated that he checked behind the nut straight on river and costed me at least 1 Bb but i guess its just bad luck

Hmm maybe.
But he just has to coldcall 2 out of the 12 KTo combination and then it's not profitable anymore.
Maybe he doesn't raise AJo or AQo (he will bet them all of course).
