As far as I'm concerned you should cap preflop and raise flop to protect your hand as you probably have nuts. About turn I'm not sure if it would be better to c/r to induce bluff and river is ok imo. But that's just my opinion... you'll hear professional judgment by Primzi and/or Cirith. :)

EDIT: sorry, you only cap with AK on fullring and I was watching SH chart, so it's ok.

hey berk.. thanks for ur reply.. btw.. how to u convert my post into your version?

Hello!

Wee, so Slovenians are useful for something after all! (Tyvm for converting :)).

As for the hand:

According to the FR bronze SHC this is a fold preflop :).

I would c/r flop to gain value from draws and worse hands + see where I stand at vs the preflop 3-better. To a 3-bet on flop I call down, to a call I bet turn. We can't exactly raise flop for protection since we can't push any draws out of the hand because the pot is so big ;).

Donking turn is out of the question since you have a way too weak hand for that. If you just called flop I suggest a c/r on turn to gain value from worse hands like AJ, KQ and 88-QQ (excluding TT of course). If we get 3-bet we still have to call down because we are ahead of one card flush draws and worse aces.

Answers to your questions:

Nope, it wasn't a good play from you, but we'll fix that ;). It doesn't matter how MP2 played, we want to improve our game :). We will never know if MP3 had us beat, but from the line he took I somehow doubt it. You shouldn't be result-oriented whilst trying to improve your game :).

Regards,

Primzi

Just click the url in the converted hand. ;)

Go here: http://weaktight.com/, register and then after hand is converted chose PT (PokerTieto) platfrom and copy/paste it here.

Primzi, so basically according to bronze SHC you fold everything that you don't cap? I was looking at this chart: xxx and it doesn't suggests any calling against 3-bet, just caping. :f_confused:

(I will keep of any further questions as I am pretty sure the answer lies in gold or higher ranked strategies... )

Edit by ciRth: Please don't post direct links. Thank you. :)

Hello!

You can call 3-bet but that's black member strategies and only I have acecss to them since I'm a hand judge :).

Joke to the side, yep, it's fold or raise to a raise/3-bet preflop (in gold articles you will learn when you can coldcall a raise) :). And also raise or fold vs 1 limper.

Regards,

Primzi

Ok. I'll wait until I will be making 7500+ strategy points per month.

Hello!

You should write that in the article where it says "report mistakes" :).

As for BB facing a 3-bet it's the same - cap or fold :).

Calling with almost every PP? I don't quite understand what you mean :|. It has the calling/raising after a raise and callers in it and we should act according to it. I think that the chart covers all situations but the ones where there is a limper and a raise after a limper, but that's a bit advanced really...

Regards,

Primzi

Yes I know, but than again I saw I missed the "Calling/Raising with raises nad callers in front of you" and just deleted that part.

Chart sugests calling with 22 if there was a raise from MP, so that's most of positions. That's what I had in mind with "playing almost every pp".

Actions against Calling/Raising suggest optimal line for that situation but as I see it's for any non BB position. On BB you already invested one big bet, so you have to invest a smaller amount of money to see the pot and your equity rises...

And don't worry, I'll leave that for the advanced discussions, I'm just thinking out loud... :)

We don't have black member articles?! :P Please give me alink to that. I don't know anything of coldcalling a 3-bet. That's just no option. Either cap or fold. (It's an option in the BB as you only call 2 BB not 2,5.)

I'd give you the link but you aren't a voluntary hand judge so you can't access them :|.

Alright post it here please. :)
