Hey Guys,
i play with Charts from a recommended Poker Coaching Site and i faced this 3bet at Top 200 Sunday Million.
I want to keep it as simple as possible and i had the Option at the Charts by facing a 3bet here that i can Shove AQo here or call the 3bet.
So i thought the simple Option would be a Shove and yeah ofc i ran into KK.

The Thing is, ofc i should always adapt Charts but what can i do when i dont have any Hands of someone and he is blocked on Sharkscope...

somehow the AQo Shove doesnt feel good when i look at it now ... please give me youre opinion!

https://prnt.sc/qe3IXE4S9Z7k

i open AQ with 39 BB Stack at HJ and SB 3bets me with 7,2 BB. I reshove and run into KK.
Sorry, i can not post a Screenshot here or give you the Screenshot Link...

only thing i woried is the sizeing of the 3 bet because we want 4x on blinds , how much blinds he have?
i think we can play shove here but when its SB he have many 3bets who caontians Ax bluffs so you can also call here and play in position , AKo is shove clear and maybe 88+ 99+

You can see that the SB has hero covered. I have made the link visible for everyone and put your post to our hand discussion board. This is a PKO and than the ranges are most likely wider than normal and is a 4bet shove with AQo not to bad I think.

Cheers,

thanks for youre opinions about this. its really interesting how different the opinions are about this spot. i made a similar post on reddit and most of them are on the more nitty side and say its only a call.

I'm with the nits on this one.
The reason is that there a lot of bounties at this table that you can still pick up.
Here you forego all those chances in the future, in the hope of a small reward now.

For this it would be necessary to know a lot more about the number of players left, how far to the next ladder, how much is the next pay jump, what the prize for first is and so on.

Like you said earlier, it is fascinating how many different opinions there are for one play in one hand.

Your own playing style comes into the discussion as well.
If you're known at the table as a tight, cautious player, then a shove now and again carries a lot of authority.
If, however you've been splashy, the not so much.

There are a lot of Pros and Contras

Pro 4bet Shove
- i suggest him to be a aggressive Player. No Sample Size on Hands but Huge Stack + Huge Bounties. Normally they only get this with very aggressive Playing Style.
- he 3bets me easier with his big Stack
- we are on about 140 th Place. 6 away from Payjump (120$). Not much that i would Consider icm?
- AQo is strong imo at late Positions. Facing in AK or KK/AA is bad Luck aswell

Contra
- Running into better Hands feels like Shit when you got busted with that Stack.
- his small 3 bet size out of blinds seems like a trap
- only better hands are calling my 4bet shove (maximum 1010/JJ, AJs is folding aswell).

So i risked my Stack for this one Hand. Seems stupid but yeah, bencb calculated that its a clear call3bet or jam against a 3bet here, but i have to adapt more in the future.

Feels like shit when you get busted with mistakes. Especially in million deep runs. Made 14th weeks ago. Was bad aswell but no mistake there (at the last Hand)

Bounties are indeed has more value than the prizes of the prize pool yet. Than I would expect villains would call lighter you'te shove as well.

Am I the only one that is wondering why Hero would document his violation of the ToA ... [using RTA] officially in a pokerforum? As a german compadre ... I am shaking my head silently.
