i think I should have shoved the turn?? or raise to like 12$? As I am facing so many draws and all the other lower sets and two pairs. I think I misplayed heavily here.

villian is a passive fish 21/11/3b 0

also I should bet higher like 70 %

my hand just looks like I want him to call but he is calling so many hands here so I should make it bigger and 3bet the turn 2.5x

thoughts?

thank you for your time

I have taken to raising 3x from SB, UTG and MP, and 2.5x from CO and BU

I might check back river out of an abundance of caution (ie paranoia).

You could raise 3x or even more in utg. But that's a minor point, or even a matter of taste.

On the flop, I think you should already bet bigger. Lots of value from draws, pairs, sets etc.

3 bet turn, you want to go broke. If he has JT or 65, it's a cooler, you are never folding top set. And you still have outs to boat up. So many river cards that kill your value, now is the time. You still get value from draws, pairs plus draws, smaller sets, two pair...

As played, I think the small river bet for value is ok, with the intention to fold to a check-raise.

great advise, thanks yeah next time i l 3bet turn. to 40bb??

he had 44. so lost a lot of value as he was not paying so much attention just was hyped about his set and would have snapp called a reraise, which should not be too small here..

A 40bb 3bet on turn is big enough against villains stack if you would do that. It's also interesting if you have reads on villains raise sizings. Min raising is kind of suspicious. If villain is passive I would go for 2/3 pot bet on flop and turn for value and protection.
