Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$0.25/$0.5 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:d, Q:s.
5 folds, BU raises, Hero 3-Bets, BB folds, BU calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 8:c, Q:h, 2:h (2 players)
Hero bets, BU calls.

Turn: (4.5 BB) 5:d (2 players)
Hero bets, BU raises, Hero 3-Bets, BU calls.

River: (10.5 BB) 9:c (2 players)
Hero bets, BU raises, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 14.5 BB.

Results follow:

Hero shows a pair of queens(Ad Qs).
BU shows two pairs, queens and nines(9s Qd).

BU wins with two pairs, queens and nines(9s Qd).

He's a TAG, should I bet/fold here?

You 3bet the turn. Is there any reason to assume he hit the river? No draws (except for 67, which is not really likely) have hit. I wouldnt fold here after 3betting the turn.

I think it's a pretty tough spot, the 9 is pretty much a complete blank and his raise is pretty strong. If he's reasonable you can muck it, if he's crazy/spewy/all the above a crying call is ok.

imo the pot is too big to fold. he could play a busted flushdraw that way..
