I played this hand to trap, and was facing tough decision on river

Put him on AK,KK or AA , so i bet top set expecting to be called or even raised on flop

Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Flop: ($1.65) 4:h, 6:c, Q:h (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.80, BB calls $0.80.

Definately take a note of this hand on him. Next time u play against him, u'll be better prepared knowing he's capable of playing hands like this.

larger raise on flop, rest is how i would have played it

Hi,

preflop you could consider to 4-bet/call.
As played: Bet at least 1,20-1,30$ due to drawy flop.
If he donkbets on turn: shove!!
Because you have FH outs, if he already has a flush
If not, you don't want to just call and see another heart and fold the best hand...

Best regards,
Anin

Agreed on postflop play, he could still have some weird crap with a lone heart on the turn, generally when you have top set especially in a 3bet pot you just should bet and get it in if possible no matter what as long as the board isn't scary as hell.

Preflop is up to you depending on how loose he has been, against some players you can 4bet/call with a smile, against others you'd be committing suicide.

Hope it helps.
