if u re having dilemmas such as this in general, u re prolly a pretty tight plr.. which is ok, esp on low lims.. to remedy that: if u often are in doubt u dont have 3 streets of value coz your image doesnt allow for that vs more competent opponent or vs a station fish, u re gonna have to increase your bet sizing so that u get it in on 2 streets instead of 3 in spots like these. then bet more flop, and shove turn.

and yes: he is a loose passive fish, so the river vbet is doubtful to me also.. he can have any 2 pair, sets, straights, flush, compared to A8-AQ in combos i think the cbehind on river is a better play.

I'd also check behind the river, but i'd bet a bit bigger on the previous streets vs him to get value from worse Ax and draws - vs better hands you're probably going with your hand anyway, so i'd try to maximize my value vs worse hands.

My reasoning for checking back the river is, that the part of his range that you beat is certainly a lot wider than the part that beats you, but most worse hands fold to a rivershove:
He's going to fold any one-pair hand and i think this even includes some Ax hands. He's a fish so he's looking at the board and puts you on straight or a flush - and could fold (could: he's still calling sometimes with TP, but not with a 100% frequency).
