Had a bad start to the week , moved to NL5 and lost 2 buyins
that could have been avoided.
After playing so much poker in the last 4 years ive developed this ( don't laugh ) 6th sense like spiderman lol which seems to get me into alot of tough situations that could be avoided if i was a weaker player.
I mean this is a prime example of my "poker sense" working for me.
I was playing SSS NL10 and I had just doubled up .. but I got AK (sigh) before i could leave table . I almost wanted to fold the hand and just leave to be honest.
Anyways , I decide it would be a crime to not play the hand so I raise and i make my 1st mistake of the hand, i didnt raise 4+1 .
2nd mistake was on flop i didnt C-bet.
On turn the villian bets , and i see my backdoor flush draw appear.
Now i could just call here but and for some crazy reason ("poker sense") I think my opponent is bluffing and I decide to semi-bluff back at him.
If Im wrong and he calls I have outs .. He makes a -EV call *sic* and I lose on river when he gets lucky.
