Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$5/$10 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:h, Q:s.
3 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-Bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 4:c, 2:h, 2:c (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 5:d (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (7 BB) 8:d (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB.

Lag/Tag and seems bit more SD bound(short sample though)

Im ahead of his range on this flop so I raise for value and contibet all the way. Seems standard

I like it, you can just c/calldown the whole way as well depending on how aggressive he is, but you underplayed your hand somewhat preflop so a raise is fine and your likely to get ahigh callers on this board especially if he is showdown bound.

c/calldown may lead to some freecards but is so very much exploitable. On this flop I am a favourite so I actually have to protect. Once he just calls me on the turn I am ahead 90%(except AK and maybe 22) of the time so river should be prety easy valuebet

Hi Dawnfall26,

I like the hand as played. As you said you have enough equity to play for value here. You also balance your range a bit as you probably raise here sometimes with a draw as well.
He mainly holds a draw or A-high so you will be called pretty often by a worse hand on the river as well.
